National Manufacturers’ Month 2020 – The month of October was recognized locally as National Manufacturers’ Month under the theme “Recover and Renew with Manufacturing”. In recognition, the Vision 2030 Jamaica Secretariat joined the Jamaica Manufacturers and Exporters Association (JMEA) in engaging Jamaicans through the production of a video (which was posted on both the JMEA’s and Vision 2030 Jamaica’s social media platforms) and a contributory article in their E-Magazine titled “Business Continuity and Safeguarding the Workforce”. Both contributions focused on highlighting Vision 2030 Jamaica’s prioritization of manufacturing as critical to the achievement of inclusive economic prosperity that will be driven by Jamaicans empowered to achieve their fullest potential.
