On November 2, 2022 the Vision 2030 Jamaica Secretariat mounted a booth at the Symposium of Best Practices in Social and Community Development put on by the Planning Institute of Jamaica (PIOJ), through its Community Renewal Programme (CRP), in partnership with the Inter–American Development Bank (IDB), the Jamaica Social Investment Fund (JSIF), the Ministry of National Security (MNS), and the Social Development Commission (SDC).

The event was held at the Jamaica Pegasus Hotel under the theme: “Towards Community Renewal: Coherence in Coordination”.

The symposium was aimed at showcasing and documenting best practices in social and community development, and stimulating and strengthening national dialogue on successful strategies in tackling critical development issues.
